The Jackson's Creek Combined Probus Club provides opportunities for fun, friendship and fellowship

for retired or semi-retired men and women.

We meet the second Monday of each month at Club Sunbury, Riddell Road, Sunbury at 10 am. Most meetings include a guest speaker.

We welcome new members.

Friendship, Fellowship and Fun

At Jackson's Creek Combined Probus Club, we believe that social connections are important for maintaining a fulfilling life.

We offer a range of social activities for our members to enjoy, such as:

monthly meetings with guest speaker presentations
monthly group outings
monthly Sunday brunches at nearby cafes
lunches at local restaurants
quarterly live theatre in Macedon followed by dinner
five-day caravan park holidays twice a year
monthly Book Club meeting

We celebrate our annual Birthday, Christmas, Australia Day and Melbourne Cup Day at various venues.

General Meetings begin at 10 am (we suggest you arrive 9:30 am for a chat before the meeting starts in the Club Sunbury function room.

Committee Meetings begin at 10:45 am in the Club Sunbury Bistro.

Portarlington Ferry Trip - 30 October 2024

A beautiful day for a trip aboard the Port Phillip Ferry followed by lunch at Portarlington Golf Club and then some retail therapy and sight seeing before boarding the ferry for the return trip.

Probus Friendship day was celebrated at Dromkeen in Riddells Creek where we all enjoyed an informative talk followed by delicious scones, jam and cream for afternoon tea.

Warrnambool CCC 5 - 10 May 2024

Thirty Probus members and friends enjoyed five days away. Nightly happy hours, lunches, trivia night, Flagstaff Hill night show and day tour, Fletcher Jones Market and an outing to Port Fairy.

Exhibition Building Tour

27 March 2024

Thirteen Probus members boarded the 8:24 am train to Parliament Station

and headed to the Exhibition Building where we were taken on a very informative tour of the Exhibition Building and then up nine flights of stairs or a ride in the lift to the dome and lovely views of Melbourne. We were lucky the Melbourne weather was kind to us and we didn't need an umbrella.

Tasmania Cruise March 2024

After a smooth check-in we were delayed for a few hours while waiting to be refuelled.

It was a fabulous cruise with eight Probus members. Trivia in the afternoon, dinner together followed by the theatre. Lots of food, coffee and wine was enjoyed by all.

Shore excursions included bus tours, visit to Bruny Island, Mt Wellington and walking tour of Hobart.

Christmas Lunch

We had a wonderful time at our Christmas lunch, filled with laughter and joy. The raffle prizes were amazing and the Christmas songs added to the festive atmosphere.

After encountering a few initial setbacks, we were finally able to visit Villa Verde. Fortunately, we were blessed with a splendid day to explore the vast 3-acre property.
